Day 1: Delhi to Rishikesh
Pick up from Delhi and drive to Rishikesh (225 km). Known as the “City of Saints,” Rishikesh offers spiritual experiences and scenic beauty. On arrival, explore local attractions such as Laxman Jhula, Swarg Ashram, and the Nine Floor Temples. Enjoy an overnight stay at a hotel in Rishikesh.
Day 2: Rishikesh to Rudraprayag
Depart for Rudraprayag via Tehri and Srinagar (175 km). Have lunch en route and visit the confluence of the Mandakini and Alaknanda Rivers, as well as the Shankar Temple. Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.
Day 3: Kedarnath
Travel from Rudraprayag to Gaurikund, from where you will trek to Kedarnath (or use doli/palki and horses). Kedarnath Temple is open for Aarti Darshan in the morning and evening. Special pooja needs to be booked in advance. Overnight stay at a guesthouse with 4 persons per room.
Day 4: Kedarnath to Pipalkoti
After breakfast, trek back to Gaurikund and then continue your journey by vehicle to Pipalkoti. Overnight stay at a hotel or guesthouse in Pipalkoti.
Day 5: Pipalkoti to Badrinath
Drive from Pipalkoti to Badrinath (75 km). Badrinath, a key site in the Char Dham Yatra, is situated on the banks of the Alaknanda River, surrounded by snow-capped Himalayan peaks. Visit the Badrinath Temple, which is believed to house the idol discovered by Adi Shankaracharya. Attend the Swarn Arti and Kapoor Arti in the evening. Explore Mana Village nearby, including Bheempul and Vyas Gufa. Overnight stay in Jyotirmath.
Day 6: Badrinath to Devprayag
Depart from Jyotirmath and visit the Devprayag confluence, where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi Rivers merge to form the Ganges. Visit the ancient Raghunathji Temple and witness the Aarti ceremony. Overnight stay in Devprayag.
Day 7: Devprayag to Haridwar
After breakfast, head to Haridwar. If adventurous, enjoy river rafting at Shivpuri. Upon reaching Haridwar, have lunch and attend the evening Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Overnight stay in Haridwar.
Day 8: Haridwar to Delhi
After breakfast, depart for Delhi for your onward journey.
